The following images present examples of X-ray jets, observed by the Soft X-Ray
Telescope (SXT) onboard Yohkoh, which followed trajectories of transequatorial
interconnecting loops (TILs).
Series A: Images 1-10 :
A sequence of images showing the repeating jet observed first on 25 June 1999
and following the same path along the transequatorial interconnecting loop
on the following days. The jets originated in a large X-ray bright point
to the southwest of AR 8602. Image 10 shows an example of a jet rooted in
another AR than the previous jets. See Section 2.1 - 2.3 of the paper.
Series B: Images 11-16:
A sequence of images showing the same transequatorial interconnecting loop
seen in the previous section which reappeared again on June 28, 1999. This time,
however, its brightening (a jet?) started at the southern end. Because
of the very long length of the TIL we show in this series the whole-disk
images. The TIL under study is close to the western limb. See Section 2.4
of the paper.
Series C: Images 17-33 :
A sequence of images showing the time development of two jets along a TIL
trajectory during the period April 26-27, 2000. The first jet developed
from AR 8970 along the loop connected to AR 8971, the second one from a similar
position a few hours later. See Section 3 of the paper.
Series D: Images 34-43 :
A sequence of images showing a jet into a transequatorial loop connecting
AR 8511 in the south to AR 8507 in the north. See Section 4 of the paper.
