CV
I was born in Praha, on March 3, 1981. In 2005 I graduated in astronomy and astrophysics from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of the Charles University in Prague. The theme of my diploma thesis was Distribution of meteoric bodies in the solar system based on precise photographic records of fireballs . In 2009 I successfully defended a PhD thesis, the topic of which was Meteor Shower Fireballs and I obtained PhD degree in astronomy.
In years 2005 - 2008 I had a part time job at the Astronomical Institute in Ondřejov. In years 2009 - 2010 I worked at Imperial College London in a two-year postdoctoral position. Since 2011 I have been working at the Astronomical Institute (Interplanetary Matter).

Research fields
The main fields of my scientific interests are atmospheric penetration of fireballs which contains deceleration, mass loss, and radiation. I am also interested in determination of atmospheric trajectory of single-station meteors.
