Geomagnetic activity forecast for the period January 12 - January 18, 2018
Quiet: Jan 12, Jan 17 - 18
Unsettled: Jan 14 - 17
Active: Jan 12 - 13
Minor storm: possible Jan 13
Major storm: 0
Severe storm: 0
Geomagnetic activity summary:
We expect the maximal geomagnetic activity the coming Saturday, January
13. This prediction is related to CH HSS from the coronal hole 59/+4
although the probability of storming event is lower than 27 days ago.
Till this day (Friday, January 12), we expect quiet condition with
unsettled or active event late evenings.
Since Sunday, January 14, we expect geomagnetic activity decrease to
unsettled level. The last two days, we expect quiet conditions return.
