Traveling to Prague

Prague is served by Vaclav Havel Airport (PRG). Airline connections exist between Prague and most of the European capitals and other major cities. The city centre can be easily reached from the Prague International Airport by means of public transportation. You just need to buy single-journey ticket for 40 CZK in advance and take the bus 119 in direction to Nádraží Veleslavín metro station (last stop). The bus stops in front of both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Ticket machines at the airport accept card payments. Bus 119 is frequent (every 8 min) and takes about 15 min to the metro station. Entire journey to the meeting venue, metro station Národní třída or Můstek that are in walking distance, will take less then 60 min. It is possible to use tram connection to station Národní divadlo that is located in front of the meeting venue.
You can also use a taxi from the airport. The price of a taxi ride to downtown Prague is around 750 CZK (30 €), but the prices are not fixed and can differ considerably. Ask for approximate price in advance. Unfortunately, there is still a danger of being extremely overcharged when using taxi in Prague, especially when hired of the street in touristic areas. Prague is conveniently served by ride hiring apps like Uber, Liftago, Bolt, etc.
