Prof. Françoise Combes & Czech-French Collaboration in Astronomy and Astrophysics Workshop

The Czech ALMA Regional Centre node - the research infrastructure EU-ARC.CZ, together with the Space for Humankind, is organizing a workshop aimed to promote prepare the local communities for the upcoming ALMA Cycle 13. The focus will be on the preparation of observations, capabilities of ALMA in Cycle 13, important observation parameters, examples of observing proposals, and how to work with the new web-based Observing Tool for the preparation and submission of proposals. The workshop will be held in the Astronomical Institute, Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague, with the possibility of online participation. It is open to all ALMA users and prospective ALMA users. No previous experience with ALMA is assumed.

Lectures and tutorials will be given by members of the Czech ARC node.
